raw rs jpeg

The main differences between raw and jpeg are the size and quality. Raw files are bigger because it contains all the raw image information while jpeg data is smaller because it becomes compressed. You can change a raw photo into a jpeg by going into photoshop clicking export, export as, and change to jpeg and save. If I were shooting an important event I would shoot in raw because I would want to have the highest quality photos without any of the image information.

pop art

The Pop Art Movement in the US - Artist.com

Pop art are images that are popular in today’s popular culture and the mass media. I don’t know who took thus photo because I got it off google and the link is blocked. What I loke about this photo is how the colors are put with their opposite colors because it makes the subject stand out.

PHOTOGRAPHY CAREER TREE

The photography career I am interested in is portrait photography. Some responsibilities of this job are making sure their subject is posing properly and the light fits the subject. The hourly salary of a portrait photographer in the state of California is $20. What made me interested in this career is how creative you can be when taking portraits. You can add anything you want to your subject like their poses, outfit, and their makeup. The only education really needed for this job is knowing facts about portrait photography by researching. Skills needed for this job is being able to edit well and know how to position your subject.

studio portrait question

  1. The purpose of the main light is so that the subject is bright, and you can see them clearly.
  2. The purpose of the fill light is to fill in shadows that the main light doesn’t reach.
  3. The lighting patterns are butterfly light, split light, and Rembrandt.

100 MOST INFLUENTIAL IMAGES OF ALL TIME

falling man, Richard drew
earthrise, William Anders
The hooded man, Sergeant Ivan Frederick

I selected these photos to talk about because i believe they have lots of meaning behind them. The first photo was taken on 9/11 and it’s of a man committing suicide. Though it had a sad meaning it looks kind of cool because of the way he’s falling. He was not the only person to do this on 9/11 which is pretty sad because they chose to burn to death or fall. I like the second photo because it shows how alone the world is and how dark space is. It also shows how big space is and how small we really are. In the last photo i love how it looks like its something its not. What i mean by this is when you first look at the photo you think its really creepy or weird. It is, but it has more meaning behind it.
